" Now about its OS, the ASHA platform is very simple and intuitive interface very easy to use with just two screens the fastlane and the app screen, Some of the attributes of these OS have been copied from android as I felt after using the phone for just an hour as also I am an ex-android user(used android for nearly 4 years) but still then it has some new and special aspects of it's own like the swipe feature to exit any app which to me is very cool and refreshing experience as I dont play games in mobile so I havent seen any lag in the interface or using any other app, the overall user experience is 5/5 though some minor improvements should be made which for now can be overlooked as for 4900 bucks you cant expect more than these, the plus point of the device is it battery its 17 hrs talk time and 26 days standby time which is the best in it's category i have got the delivery on 10th an till now 55% of battery is still there(which includes 7 hrs of wifi, some talking, using the net, sms, clicking pic's with the camera) which is a thumbs up for me as well as the scratch resistant display and the easy hot swappable sim switching method which is not found in any other phones, the capacitive two point touch is also very responsive you don't get these features for a 5K a mobile these days please dont compare it micromax, karbonn or some other indian brand it is miles ahead from them and also the durability of these product is much better than those product and it is a proven fact that nokia makes very durable mobiles, now coming to the camera though it is a 3.2 MP camera it doesnt provide the quality pics from the desired lens it has my ex- lg Optimus One P500 with 3.2 MP camera provided much better pics and sharp images than these one still then you can use it after making some adjustment, the pictures seem to pixelated when you use the zoom and I don't prefer using the snapper at night coz the quality of the pics are not up to the mark while Nokia are known for their powerful camera's but it is understandable that for 5K you cant get best of the both worlds you need to make some adjustments and the camera is little disappointment but you can live through it though in the day it gives considrably good to average kind of photos, now the app ecosystem is of what I say 50-50 it doesnt have popular messeging apps like whatsapp" |

" wechat, etc but we can expect that within months those popular applications will be made available for these mobile but for now you can use the Nokia Chat which is given pre-installed in the mobile the nokia express browser doesn't give the benefit of android browsers quality or their usability though an improvement could have been made here as Nokia had primarily made these mobile for the Internet, By the Internet so I felt little disappointed about the browser experience but that is not much of an big issue which I expect Nokia will fix in their future updates for these device" |
